A Party for Hungry Caterpillars

Now here’s a charming first birthday with a theme based on the children’s book,
“The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle. What’s amazing about Luke’s birthday was it was truly a family affair!
The birthday boy’s aunt is actually Maja of Passion Cooks, so, naturally, they styled the party.
For the artworks, it was Luke’s uncle who translated them from the books for the party, while his grandmother and great aunt made the food and cakes!

We just love how there were so many activities for the kids. Aside from the games, there was also a shadow play,
and they even had an art corner, where they could design their own caterpillars and butterflies!

And, to end, Thirdy had his first taste of cake for a smashing finale! His colorful cake was personally made by his ninang, Len Medoza. He was a bit scared at first but, he felt secured when his mom and dad joined in!
